The county of Angus on the east coast of Scotland is home to the angus cattle breed. The area around the town of Brechin is particularly well-known for angus cattle. Angus beef is prized for its high quality, and angus cattle are also used for dairy production.

The Cairngorms are a range of mountains located in the heart of Angus. The highest peak in the range is Ben Macdui, which reaches an elevation of 4,296 meters. The Cairngorms are popular with hikers and climbers, and offer some stunning views over the surrounding countryside.
